‘Singing4Breathing’ is an award winning singing group to help people diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The group was originally developed from a module assignment at the University of Northampton by students studying Occupational Therapy (OT). ‘Singing 4 breathing’ has made a profound difference to local residents’ health thanks to the natural lung exercise singing can bring.
James Wyatt a qualified and registered Occupational Therapist runs the group
alongside local music professional Chris Startup.
Alison Roddy, international opera singer and concert soprano is our ‘Singing 4 breathing’ patron.
